ALLEGED COLD STEALING. A BENDIGO MINER ARRESTED. Melbourne, Friday.
Percival John Hillbrick (32), a miner of Bendigo, was arrested yesterday and charged with being found illegally in possession of gold, and with stealing gold from the Goldfield Consolidated Company's mine, and with having implements for treating gold which were not registered.
Hillbrick is a steward of the Miners Association, and recently took an active part in the movement when all employees took the pledge to stand loyally by the company and do all they could to prevent gold stealing.
